ACTA DIURNA

Western Suburbs Games Society News                                                                                                February 2005

Commentarii Senatus (Comments from the Senate)

To assist occasional members and visitors, the Committee have organised for the next 6 months for the first Sunday of each month to be our regular 40K day, and for the 3rd Sunday to be FOW. Given the number of members who like to play both, this will allow as many people as possible to get a game.

This is not to say that these games wont be played on the opposite meeting date, and people are always welcome to play whatever they want.

However, by having some structure around the days, we hope to avoid people sitting around with say a 40K army, when else is playing FOW. This will also allow us to organise large participation games, and league ladder games within the club, and more details on this will be provided shortly.

Games are usually played for both systems using 1500 point lists, although by agreement players can organise whatever they wish. Depending on feedback, we may continue this structure beyond June 2005.
