ACTA DIURNA
Western Suburbs Games Society News
JUNE 2003
WSGS
Since 1974 we have been supporting our hobby and providing young and not so young Hobbyists with a venue to paint and play strategic table top games.
Ex- members from our club have gone on to start at least 3 other hobby clubs that I’m aware of.
We have a proud history of supporting and promoting our hobby. WSGS is well known for the participation games that its members have made, Lost worlds, Chariot racing, Teddy Bears Picnic to name a few. I’d like to claim Battle for
Britain was from one of our club members only I don’t think he is a member yet.
If you have a game that you want to play, let me know the dates that you want your game played and we will promote it in the ACTA DIURNA. Persistence and active promotion will see your game become a regular feature at the club.
WSGS presents a 2 weekend Miniature Hobby Convention over April and May, Leviathan. We also have 2-3 Display days (Theme based painting competitions) a year and actively support MOAB.
